This nun at Wat Sambot told Sopheak the story about the spirit-possessed monkey (skeleton.html) that terrorized the wat. In spite of all the efforts to placate him, visitors are still told to stay together in groups. While I was taking this photo, she was telling Sopheak how the big monkey tore off one of the young nun's clothes and would have raped her had her screams not alerted her sisters, who ran to her rescue.
